Descriptif du poste

We are looking for a FUNCTIONAL ANALYST to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for gathering and assessing customer requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications and then monitoring their implementation with the Scrum team. You will be actively working with the project managers to identify new customer requirements, and with the designer and developers to analyze business processes, define requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of our Saas solution.

You will also assist the Sales Director in responding to calls for tender. You will be responsible for analysing the requirements expressed in the tender specifications, and writing the responses describing how the product meets them. 

Target customers are small to large-size companies active in the energy & environmental sector across Europe.

Key responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.

  • Solution Design: work closely with designer and developers to define system capabilities and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Product scrum: contribute to Agile ceremonies, assist in backlog refinement, and support user acceptance testing to validate solutions.

  • Assist in sales cycles by presenting technical solutions, conducting demos, and developing Proof of Concepts (PoC), draft offers and quotations

  • Stakeholder communication: act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Documentation & training – Maintain clear documentation of business requirements, workflows, and system functionalities while supporting end-user training.

Profil recherché

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an IT/SaaS environment.

  • Experience as Pre-Sales consultant is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills to analyse business processes and translate them into functional and technical requirements.

  • Attention to detail and writing skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent team-player.

  • Experience delivering compelling product demos and technical presentations.

  • Experience in IT and cloud projects is a big plus.

  • Experience in the energy industry is a plus.

  • Fluent in French and English.
